Terms of Use

These terms are a contract between you and Guest Collab (“we”, “us”) covering guestcollab.com. By creating an account, or by using an event page as a guest, you accept them. You must be at least 13 to use the service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to hold an account. How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

You sign in with a supported provider (Google — and Facebook and Microsoft where offered) or, where offered, with a sign-in link emailed to an address that already matches your account or an event invitation, and you are responsible for activity on your account. Much of Guest Collab works through secret links — a personal RSVP link, an event link, a schedule link. The link is the key: anyone who holds your RSVP link can view and edit that RSVP, and at the most open event access levels anyone with the event link can view its shared pages. Treat these links like keys, and don’t share ones that aren’t yours to share.

When you add people to a guest list or send invitations, you confirm that:

• you have a genuine relationship with these guests and the right to give us their contact details — no purchased, scraped, or third-party lists, ever;
• invitations and reminders are sent on your behalf and at your direction, and you’ll respect anyone who asks not to be contacted (we additionally enforce opt-outs, sending caps, and cooldowns at the platform level, and these are not negotiable);
• information you enter about other people (names, contact details, notes) is accurate and entered for the purpose of running your event.

Abuse of the invitation system — using Guest Collab to send unsolicited email in any form — is grounds for immediate suspension.

You own what you upload — photos, videos, messages. You grant us the license needed to run the service: to store, process (for example, generating thumbnails), and display your content to the people the event’s settings share it with, and to deliver it back to you and your event’s host in features like galleries, live walls, and downloads. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for short-lived backups.

Upload only what you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, infringing, or harassing. Hosts curate their own events: a host can hold uploads for review, hide or remove content from their event, and remove guests. If your content is removed from an event by its host, that’s between you and the host — but content that breaks these terms may be removed by us from anywhere.

• no unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harassing use or content;
• no scraping, bulk collection, automated account creation, or probing of other people’s events, links, or data;
• no interfering with the service or circumventing its limits — access levels, storage caps, sending caps, and moderation exist for everyone’s benefit;
• no reselling the service without our written agreement.

The core service is free; some features require a paid plan as described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t see or store card numbers. First-time subscription purchases can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase; renewal charges are otherwise non-refundable except where the law requires, and we email a reminder before each annual renewal. Accounts have storage allowances; when an account is full, new uploads pause until space is freed or added (paid plans get a short grace window so a live event is never interrupted). We may change plans and pricing going forward, never retroactively.

If a paid subscription endsand your account holds more than the free plan’s storage allowance, your photos and videos remain viewable and downloadable for one month. We email warnings during that window; after it ends, the media stored in your events is permanently deleted. Resubscribing at any point during the window keeps everything untouched.

You can stop using Guest Collab at any time and ask us to delete your account (see Delete your data). Hosts can archive or delete their events; deleting an event removes its guest list and uploaded content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — especially the anti-abuse rules — and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, giving hosts a chance to download their content.

The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep events running and content safe, but we can’t promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we aren’t responsible for content that hosts and guests provide or for what happens at events themselves. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and US $50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Nevada.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Questions: support@guestcollab.com.
